Well, it was hard to sleep last night. I think our oldest dog got the anxiety memo; she needed to go out three times last night. I was on dog-let-out-duty so between her bathroom needs and my own, not much sleep happened.

Subsequently, for now, all I can manage is a haiku for you/not for you:

It will take some time,
but we will build back better.
Just you wait and see.

May we be safe through whatever is to come.
May we be willing to hold on tight to our values.
May we know, and trust, that integrity fuels true strength.
May we accept that things are often darkest before there are major breakthroughs.
