Dear President Trump,
The Buddha taught his monks that bringing love forward in times of fear would help them cope. It is my fervent hope that he was right because I am very afraid.
Whatever the true nature of Mr. Bannon’s and your plan is to dismantle the administrative infrastructure of the federal government, I do not believe that it has the well-being of everyone at its heart. I am extremely worried that what you have in mind to take government’s place is a type of cronyism that will enrich you and your friends, will pit struggling people against one another, will completely demolish whatever hopes we might have had for saving the planet, and will tear the world apart. And then you all will walk away feeling smug that you did what you set out to do. The prospect of you all succeeding is the stuff of nightmares, literally. I had one last night.
I will continue to oppose you and I will continue to pray for you because the entire world depends on you reorienting toward love and away from a greedy madness that will take us all down, including you, eventually.
May you be safe.
May you be happy.
May you be healthy.
May your life unfold and intersect with ease.
May these blessing come to you not only in what befalls you, but also in your actions that you may stop being a negative force in the Universe.
